Profits guaranteed by law

On April 1, 2000, Germany's Renewable Energy Law (EEG) came into effect and saw amendments between the years 2004 and 2008. The law guarantees that the applicable power companies purchase power generated by photovoltaic installations at a fixed rate. Any revenue generated by photovoltaic installations is guaranteed for 20 years.
